  34. Using single variable statistics:

  36. [Cl‚àë] clears the statistical registers.  Always press this before starting a new calculation.

  38. [ ‚àë+] takes the value in the x register and calculates the sum and sum of squares.  The variable count is incremented and displayed in the big register under the calculator.  Click [inv] before [ ‚àë+] and the value in x is removed from the calculation.

  40. [Stat] puts the average (mean) into x and the unbiased standard deviation into y, and the variance (unbiased) into z.

  42. [Sh‚àë] (Show stat registers) puts the sum into t (top register) and the sum of squares into z.  The count remains displayed in the big register.
